Хор Веснівка був заснований в 1990 році. За цей час молодими виконавцями були виконані твори Переела, Мендельсона, Баха, Бріттена, Глінки, Леонтовича та інших класиків і сучасних композиторів.
В 1994 році в Будинку органної та камерної музики хор "Веснівка" та Національний симфонічний оркестр Держтелерадіо України під керівництвом заслуженого діяча мистецтв Віктора Здоренко представили спільну творчу роботу, кантату "Stabat Mater" Джованні Перголезі. А в 1997 році колектив виступив в тому ж залі з сольним концертом за участі лауреата "Національного конкурсу органістів" заслуженого артиста України Валерія Михалюка.
Навесні 1996 року хор мав гастрольне турне по Каліфорнії (США). Він провів 10 концертів серед них участь в гала-концерті "Перехрестя Миру", присвяченого третьому тисячоліттю Єрусалиму; святкуванні Дня незалежності Мексики; зустрічі з мером міста Лос-Анджелеса Річардом Ріорданом.
Творча подорож до Угорщини (1995) була унікальною тим, що в місті Сегед хор заприятелював зі знаменитим хором ім. Бартока Белла.
В 1998 році на 5 Міжнародному московському хоровому конкурсі "Звучит Москва" хор "Веснівка" отримав почесне звання лауреата І ступеню.
1999 рік був відмічений нагородженням першої премії Міжнародного хорового конкурсу "Крісталлє келлюке" Нарва, Естонія.
В 2000 році на ювілейному концерті хору, що відбувся в Національній філармонії України, колектив вперше виконав кантату Ігоря Стравінського "На староанглійські тексти" в супроводі камерного оркестра "Київська камерата" та солістів Оперного театру В Ленської, В.Трохальського. Диригував молодий український музикант Кирило Карабіц.
В цьому ж році колектив прийняв участь в щорічному міжнародному фестивалі сучасної музики "Київмюзікфест", де був відмічений музичною критикою.
Початок XXI сторіччя колектив зустрів гастрольною подорожжю до Білорусі, а в травні 2001 року відвідав Королівство Норвегії, де знайомив любителів музики цієї країни з хоровим мистецтвом України.
В червні цього ж року хор був удостоєний привітати Папу Римського Іоанна Павла II в Києві.
В 2002 році хор брав участь у фестивалі "Халлє-Заалє" (Німеччина) на батьківщині Генделя.
2003 рік. Хор взяв участь у фестивалі "Співає Київ весняний" і отримав диплом за краще виконання західноєвропейської сучасної музики.
Серпень 2005. Тур по Європі, який включав: виступи в рамках Форуму Україна-Норвегія; участь у 2-му міжнародному хоровому фестивалі 'Touch the Future" (Даннштадт, Німеччина); ряд концертів у Польщі.

Children's choir "Vesnivka" (Kyiv, Ukraine)

The choir "Vesnivka" was founded in 1990. Since that time young performers of classical compositions of Purcell and Mendelssohn, Bach and Britten, Glinka and Leontovych and other modern composers were greeted with cheers in the best concert halls of Kyiv and other cities. Children's voices from "Vesnivka" were often heard on the radio and TV.
In 1994 the choir "Vesnivka" and the National symphony orchestra State Teleradio company of Ukraine under the direction of the honoured worker of arts Victor Zdorenko presented their team-work cantata "Stabat Mater" of Giovanni Pergolese in the House of organ and chamber music. In 1997 the chorus performed the solo concert in the same hall with the assistance of the National contest of organists prize-winner Valeriy Mykhailiuk. Their creative cooperation continues today as well.
At the popular Kyiv festival "Autumn Jazz Marathon" in 1997 the choir performed "Jazz Improvisation" of Valeriy Ronzhyn written by the composer specially for the choir. The Kyiv press wrote about this: "Vesnivka's performance was a real sensation. This original music was performed as perfectly as the classics" (Inna Dolzhenkova, "The Day").
In spring 1996 a very prominent event was recorded into the history of the choir - a tour of California (USA). 10 concerts in front of the California audience, participation in the Gala concert devoted to the third millennium of Jerusalem "Crossroad of the World", celebration of Mexico's Independence Day, meeting with the hospitable mayor of Los Angeles and broadcasting on the US TV made a deep impression on children.
Creative choir's works were introduced in Crimea (1993) and Moldova (1994). The tour to Hungary (1995, Seged) was unique because children became acquainted and performed together with the famous choir named after Bartok Bella. In 1997 the chorus visited Hungary again and performed in the St. Erhebet Roman-Catholic Church in Budapest.
In 1998 at the International Moscow chorus festival "The Sound of Moscow" the choir "Vesnivka" received an honorary title of the prize-winner of the I degree.
The next year, 1999, was marked by the first prize in the International chorus contest "Crystal Bell" in Narva (Estonia).
Accompanied by the chamber orchestra "Kyiv Kamerata" and soloists of the Opera House V. Chenskaya and V. Trokhalskyi, the choir performed Ihor Stravinsky's cantata "After Old-English Traditions" at its anniversary concert in 2000 that was held in the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine. A young Ukrainian musician Kyryl Karabits conducted the composition.
In the same year the choir participated in the annual International festival of modern music "Kyiv Music Fest" and was marked by the musical criticism.
The XXI c. began by the choir's tour to Byelorussia. In May 2001 "Vesnivka" visited Norway and introduced Ukrainian choir art to the music-lovers of the country. June, 2001 - choir took part in Pope of Rome greetings. In May 2002 choir "Vesnivka" took part in "23 Internationales Kinderchorfestival" in Halle (Saale), Germany.
Constant search and hard work provide the choir "Vesnivka" with creative longevity and present the audience with delight in young voices of the performers.
